When should i start applying for colleges?

i'm a senior at high school and was wondering when was a good time to start applying. thanks to all who answered.

You should ideally start applying over the summer. Now that summer's over, now would be a good time to start before you get too involved in schoolwork. You should tour the colleges you are applying to one last time, and start writing your essay NOW! Don't put it off.

You can start applying now for the Fall of 09, but keep in mind that some competitive programs have dates when they start accepting applications and dates when they cut off for acceptance.  Many colleges start in Oct and end taking applications in January for the competitive programs.  Check with the school.  Also, some schools require you to take aptitude testing.  Definitely look into each school for program specifics.

when you are 15 year you can start college but the best is 16 because then you just finish year 11.
