When should i start feeding my newely bought baby albino oscar and baby jack dempsey cichlids?

I just bought these guys saturday july 26 and i bought hikari cichlid gold and i was thinking about feeding them sunday but my fish don't seem as active yet since they are still adjusting to there bigger tanks with less tank mates. This is a 30 gallon tank with a heater set on high with a 150 watt heater and i will move these guys to a 125 tank with pacus,arowanas,and other cichlids when they are about 5" but do you have any tips on how to get the fish more active in less time and when should i start feeding the fish and how often.
