  1. The best thing you can do is pay attention and be an attentive student in class. You have the entire school year to prepare and that is exactly what the class is for- to teach you the things you need to know for the test. I would say around half-way through the year (Around the semester break) start working through your review book to where your class has gotten. Keep reviewing what you have already learned through the year to prevent cramming the week before the test. Take a practice test or two in the spring and have it graded to get an idea of where you are. Best of luck!

The Princeton Review Book series are good. I used them for APUSH and AP Lang and got a five on both! I used Sparknotes flashcards for APUSH and they were good, but didn't use the entire pack.

  2. Don't study... if you have a half decent teacher then just paying attention in class and doing a few sample tests is more than enough. I didn't do jack $hit all year and I got a 5.

  3. AHAHAHAA. im sorry, your question just brought back tons of memories for me. well when i took euro, my teacher was just the laziest man ever! im serious, he taught us nothing and you know what, i got the princeton review book and i actually got a 3 which is a miracle because 90% of his students failed. i'm serious, it was pretty sad to see people from other schools getting 5s and stuff.

the test is not till the beginning of may, so i suggest during school just learn everything first and about one month left, you start reviewing. but during the process when youre learning each chapter, remember to jot down notes and important facts so you wont have to look back at everything again.

one thing that helps alot, is taking a lot of practice tests, the more you take the more you get a hang of it. and you can retake them again to see any signs of improvement.

but beware of FRQs, you must know many details in order to answer two essay questions of your choice.

the DBQ is easy, but do remember the 6 points.

EDIT TO GUY BELOW ME: totally true, its all on the teacher. rawr. no one at my school got a 5 :( so depressing!

  4. you should start studying a few months before because it is something that you would want to get a good grade on and good grades don't grow off of trees

    Good Luck on the test!!!!!!!
