  1. I would leave it in as long as possible.  You don't want to mess with the healing process, just leave it in for 3 full weeks, maybe even 4.

  2. I just got my cartilage pierced, and my piercer said to wait a month. She also said, if I really want to change it I should go to her.

    Hope I helped.

  3. The piercer is WRONG! You need to wait 8 weeks with cartilage, 6 weeks for a regular ear piercing. It takes a long time for it to heal properly. Make sure you clean it every day (either with rubbing alcohol, or if she gave you   something else to clean it with). And since your not sure, wait 8 weeks to be safe. You can change it, but keep an earring in the hole at all times, wait about 4 months before you can go 24 hours without anything in the hole.

  4. If it's not cartilage then it's not a cartilage piercing.  When did they say you can switch them?  Probably 6-7 weeks?  Then 6-7 weeks.  Piercings are nothing to mess around with.

  5. You have to leave it for like 12 weeks otherwise it will just close up straight away
