When should it arrive?

card was collected from post box on monday morning(holiday monday) 1st class being sent locally, when should it arrive, are there less workers on a holiday moday? it was not a Bank holiday. is it most likely to arrive wed?

If you post it first class on Monday, it should arrive on Tuesday morning..

For first class, ir should be delivered the next working day, provided it was posted before the last collection.

If it was posted 2nd class, it can take up to 3 working days.

If a card was posted Monday morning it will be collected from the box monday night where it will go to a local sorting office.

From here it will be routed to a destination office on overnight and to the local delivery office by Tueday morning.  It will then get opened and any cash removed from it before being given to the postman to deliver with the Tuesday morning post.  

1st class should arrive the next day.
