When should my admended check be in?

My husband and i had already filed taxes and we got are money but he had a another w-2 that came in late so we had to go and admend it and they said that we can expect to get it anywhere from 6-12 weeks and it's already been 7 weeks almost 8 and we still havent gotten it, Has anyone had to admend theres before? and if you did how long did it take for you to get yours?

We had to amend our taxes this year as well to add our adopted daughter.  Our amended return came last week - close to nine weeks after we sent our amendment documentation.

Typically, it takes 8-12 weeks to process.

I had to amend taxes after already recieving refund and I got it mailed right on April 15th. Still waiting for rebate. I check IRS.com daily and still says my stimius check has been delayed

IRS is busy processing all the 2007 original returns and it is taking them 12 weeks to process amended returns.  Once processed if you have a refund due to you it will be mailed.
