When should my daughter wear makeup?

My daughter is 12 and wants to wear makeup so school and all that. should i let her? and if so, what kind of makeup should she wear?

I'm about to go in the 8th grade.
Since 6th grade,ive been wearing makeup.
What I do is put on burts bees guave lip shimmer.
then i put on lashblast waterproof mascara.
then i add a yellowy-whitey cream base to my lids,and but a golden tan color on top of that. ive gotten compliments for this look,its natural looking,too.
