I'm looking to buy a 1995 Acura Integra and I'm not sure if the timing belt was replaced. The car has almost 135,000 miles and I ran a carfax on it and it says the car was "serviced" at 77,000 miles. Do you think it is safe to say that when it was serviced the timing belt was replaced?

  1. no...the belt should be replaced at 80,000 miles...

and Carfax only has the info people give it, it's not always correct.

  2. Well if your not sure and are skeptical about it I would go ahead and change it. it has quit a bit of miles and Carfax aint always correct.

I would personally change it every 60,000 miles.

make sure you get a complete kit. and make sure its OEM Honda, thats the best u can get. something like this kit.
