  1. I just had my 3rd OBGYN appointment this morning, I'm 15 weeks today btw, and the nurse asked if I had felt it move yet. When I answered no she said that it was very early anyway but since I had a bump she has to ask. She told me to expect it between 20 and 24 weeks but since my baby's placenta is in front of him/her, it may take longer for me to feel it, especially for my hub to feel it from the outside. Don't fret, all pregnancies are different, if you still haven't felt it by your next appointment just ask!

  2. u should have started feeling small thumps @ 16 weeks i dont know what to tell u , go to the doctor, unless u jus have a lazy baby! lol

  3. Hi Rebecca,

Oh, girl...I feel your pain when you worry about the baby inside you that you cannot see, feel, look at, etc.  Feeling your baby move depends on many factors; your weight, your baby's weight, if you've had a baby before and others.  I've had 3 kids in the last 4 years, and I worried on almost a daily basis about their well being.  The absolute best thing that saved my sanity was a fetal heart doppler.  You can rent these online without a doctor script.  They are doctor quality, and I was able to hear my babies heartbeat at about 12 weeks with it.  Whenever you get that "feeling" or should I say fear that something just isn't right, you can hear that beating heart and give yourself peace of mind.  I rented mine from bellybeats.com, and it is a rent to own.  You don't have to keep it, but since I had my kids so close together I had already paid mine off and so I still have it---to buy one out right is about $600.  Don't worry, your little baby is just fine.  Good luck :)

  4. Usually right around now, but if it is your first baby, you wont know what to look for.  However, I am pretty sure that baby will make very distinct movements, really soon.

Mine has began to "ninja kick" me.  Don't get worried, you will get to feel baby soon.   Later on, he/she will move ALOT.

  5. It depends on the baby and your bodies sensitivity to it. Most of my kids I didn't feel until around 20 weeks or so but I'm currently pregnant with my last and I felt her moving around 16 weeks and felt even smaller flutters a few weeks before. Do not worry about it. As long as everything is alright at your appointments there isn't anything you can do but wait. Maybe try getting yourself something sweet to eat and then try lying down in bed in the dark to see if you feel anything. Many times we don't feel anything just because we're  busy doing other things and not noticing. No matter what... your baby will make his/her presence known eventually. Relax and take care.

  6. With your first baby it can be anything up to 24 weeks, so you have nothing to worry about!
