When should you take a pregnancy test after having a child?

I had my son on june 12 and at 2 months we started having s*x again. At the time my doctor didnt want me on birth control so that my milk wouldnt dry out so she said to wait til three months. we used the pull out method ( which worked for 2 years) but i am worried he cut it to close and want to know, am i prego again?

You could be.. You have a 50/50 chance. You can go ahead and test now, it would give you an accurate result.

you can get a blood test very soon after having s*x and thinking you might be.  A pee test takes a few weeks.

Well for starters the "pull out method" doesn't work. Due to pre-*** and early ejaculation small amounts can still escape before the big bang.

As for the pregnant part, stop by the nearby dollar store and take a test.

the saying is if your breast feeding you can fall pregnant but never is 100%, the fact that your asking this as a woman to woman i would say you have the intuition already that you  may very well be pregnant,also happened to me 2 months after

many women dont get their period for a while so it might be hard to tell.u should probably go back and talk to your doctor and see if youre worried.

You can take it anytime.  But the only thing is that because many women dont get their period while breast feeding you dont really have anything to go off of as a point of refference.  i took 4 tests, one each week to be sure

If you are concerned you should have a test. A blood test is more reliable than a home test kit. You can still get pregnant without having a period after giving birth. Mind you, you may be one of the fortunate mums who doesn't get her period until she stops breast feeding...but I'm not sure why your doctor didn't put you on the mini pill. It's best to use something if you don't want to get pregnant.

It took my period 4 months to become regular again. You don't have to be on a birth control method that includes hormones, and if you really hate condoms use film. Its just a thin square of spermicide you insert close to the cervix, wait 15 minutes and its good for 3 hours.
