  1. Golden Rule

    Yield to the downhill skier

  2. you're supposed to yield to them, not tell them to move

  3. the person behind needs to keep away from them, but if they are making sharp unexpected turns, you need to say "on your right" or "on your left" loudly as you come up to them.

  4. Ski around them

  5. The general rule is that the people in front of you always have the right of way, and you're responsible for avoiding them yourself, because you can see them and they can't really see you. This doesn't make it okay to cut people off though, hahaha.

  6. You don't warn them, you just ski around them. It's the uphill skier's responsibility to avoid skiers below them.

  7. Or, ski at a less crowded mountain!

  8. In the skiers code, it states that  the skier in rear is responsible for watching for those in front of him/her. If that person is being a moron and cutting you off, just STOP and wait for him to get farther down the slope. So basically, you are responsible for the skier in front of you, and YOU need to avoid them.
