To give acurate answer,your geographical location is to be considered.That maens your longitude and latitude of the place where you want to see the eclipse.

You may know when it comes from other answers or the day before 1st from news .

But, my advice is dont try to see it directly ,it may harm your eyes.

Use some films like X-ray films,it will be better.

The solar eclipce will be visible in India on 1st.aug.,08 and its timing will be different for diff.places.In Delhi it will start 4:03pm and will end 5:57pm.Its midway or peak will be at 5:03pm.
