When someone calls me, or I call someone I have to switch off my wireless router otherwise the phone..?

doesnt work properly. A loud interference is heard and I can't hear the other side. I have Sky Broadband and the router is not connected to a computer directly. How do I fix it - please helo

The most likely problem is that you do not have the filters hooked up to all the phones in the house.  (A DSL filter is required on every phone jack except the one going to the DSL modem).  You can contact SKY broadband to purchase the filters.

Also, this could be caused by something else if you are using cordless phones in your house.  Wireless routers broadcast their signal at 2.4ghz, which is the same as alot of Cordless phones.  If this is the case, you can buy cordless phones that broadcast their signal at 5.8ghz, which would completely eliminate interference.  5.8ghz cordless phones are very easy to find and usually cost anywhere from 25-50 dollars at target or walmart.
