When someone is calling my cell phone, why can I hear them talking before I answer? Link to my Sprint Phone?

Here is my phone, nothing special. My phone rings, if the caller is talking I can hear them with out picking up my phone. Why? http://www.sprintpcs.com/flash2/idemo.html?x=SCP2300KTS&xType=2

It sounds like your phone is doing the answering for you, which probably means it has somehow gotten set to auto-answer.  You'll need to go in and change the settings so that you have to actually DO something to answer the phone.  

The phone is a Sanyo Vi2300; you'll need to go through the user manual to get the settings right.  You can get the manual as a download from http://www.sanyowireless.com/manuals.asp... so you don't have to try to locate your paper copy.

Uh, thats very odd and creepy. I don't think that is normal. NOr do I think that is linked to your phone. Uh, if you get what I am saying.

your phone must be set for auto answer. depending on your phone go to main menu go through your settings and turn auto answer off.that should correct the problem.
