  1. Always C - pull over to the side and allow them to pass.  However, I am very rarely tailgated because I usually drive a bit over the speed limit.  Extremely slow drivers make me crazy - it's good to be safe, but going too slow can also cause accidents.

  2. My dad does A so it's what I grew up with...and I think it's funny.

If I am in the passing lane and it's possible for me to move over (the traffic isn't so heavy that I have to stay where I am) I might slowly make my way over to the next lane...eventually...but I do take my time and won't allow bullies to have their way.

If I am in any other lane, I will ignore them.

I would only speed up if the reason for the tailgate is that, for some reason, I'm driving too slowly.

Tailgating is hugely rude and dangerous and I won't reward the fools by acting like they are in command of me.

In the end, every driver is responsible for the front end of their own car.

  3. A.

  4. sometimes a. sometimes b. and sometimes I just flip them off and keep going the speed i was going.

  5. In a defensive driving course you would be told that you should increase your following distance to the vehicle ahead of you, giving you more reaction time and more time to brake slower, so the vehicle tailgating you won't rear end you.

But, my bumper sticker says "The closer you get, the slower I drive".

    Good luck!

  6. A

but if its a cop B or D (jk)

  7. id probably do a

  8. I usually pull over and let them pass me which is the letter C. What sucks is if you are going above the speed limit and the person still passes you. Usually I go at or just 5 miles above the speed limit. Usually some people are in a hurry because of the failure to plan ahead. Others are just horse's asses who thinks everybody evolves around them.

  9. Usually A, and sometimes, if they're really obnoxious, I put on my flashers, but then go back tonormal speed once they go around me.  Please note that I only do this if there's no reason for them to up on me, like if there's plenty of room for them to go around me, or if I'm already over the speed limit as it is.

  10. If they're being an a*****e I'll give it right back to 'em. Like if there's 2 lanes and they tailgate me until they get a chance to pass (like they're in the biggest rush or act like they have the hottest car so they have to zig zag past everyone), once they pass me I'll start tailgaiting them back to p**s them off. They hate it back. LOL

  11. I usually drive on small roads with my children so to avoid any type of road rage that could endanger the children, I pull over when it's safe so that the idiot can pass me.  Then he/she can tailgate the next car.

  12. If you let them get on your nerves, you lose the nerve game already. The answer is none of the above, including E.  Ignore them, stay on the right lane and keep the speed limit or your normal speed by turning on the cruise.  You don't need to get upset or feel harassed

  13. D

  14. I like to do all of the above!! But only, ONLY, if you have insurance! and good insurance!

If it's a REALLY nice car, and your policy covers $15k/$25k, and the car is a... brand new 50 thousand dollar corvette let's say... I've heard something about insurance companies not paying for everything because you didn't select good enough of a policy.

But Like I was saying.. I would do all of the above, and in this order ;)

Slow down first, to really p**s them off.

Then speed up again to make them think they're getting their way

Maybe slow down again if they are still doing it

And finally SLAM those breaks.  Especially if the person behind is driving a Ricer ("tricked" out little Civics with decals and body kits and whatever)

You might get lucky and they would owe you a new car :)

Take caution of the person who has NO insurance!!  You'll be screwed.

And also another word of caution: if it is high speed, you're looking at potentially getting in a fatal wreck.  The collision of your car could put you over the median and into oncoming traffic. Scary.

I have seen a car do this and get hit... and the car did the above.. and went further... OFF a bridge.

So really I wouldn't recommend it. lol

  15. I wait until I'm on a one lane road where they can't pass me, and then slow down to about 5mph below the posted limit.  I drive the limit, because I live in a college town where you never no when the police have a speed trap set up.  If other people have a problem with me driving the limit, I'm happy to slow down.  ;)

  16. Nothing, it's their problem, not mine.  I stick to the speed limit and ignore them.

  17. It depends on my mood. Sometimes a sometimes c, and sometimes d.
