  1. To the right. I just do the same as if I was driving...which is pull to the right. Same concept.

    EMT

  2. To the right whenever possible. I think it's because I was raised in the US and we drive on the right side of the road.

  3. I tend to move to the right, but then, I am right handed. Most people tend to do everything toward or with their dominant hand. My guess is that you'll find that most righties move to the right, and most southpaws move to the left.

  4. too the left

  5. I play chicken and bump the person if they don't move - LOL

typically move to the right like driving

  6. right :}

  7. I tend to move to the side of the road.  I guess I just feel rude if I force someone else to that side because there's more danger of splashes or being knocked down but if they're already over that side then obviously I'll just edge a little further to the other.

  8. Erm, well as i man i usually step to the side of the curb is on, usually men turn towards the women and women turn there back to the men if squeezing through a small gap.

  9. You should move to the direction of the drive lane of your country.

  10. to the right..

  11. to the right.

  12. Right.

  13. To the right.  Most of us are right handed.

  14. you're supposed to the right duh sorry but seriously

okay well in my neck of the woods

  15. it depends on which way it looks like their gunna go.

if there are no signs, i ususally move to the right.

thanks for giving me a question that makes me truly think(:

  16. I did a poll on this very topic in highschool.  I polled 300 people, about 80% of the people turn right if they were right handed and left if they were left handed.

  17. i stop moving and let them decide

  18. Right

  19. In the US..

In America, moving sidewalks and escalators are usually set up so that you stay to the right. The right side moves away from you and the left side toward you.   Sometimes you dance though...!

IN Australia  it is the other way around.

New Yorkers  particular - get very angry if you stop suddenly on the sidewalk. They  expect a certain consistent flow of traffic, and sudden stops result in a domino effect.

There are no rules for walking on sidewalks in England  and it's pretty much 'finding a space and going for it' in big crowds. As for the escalators, anyone using the tube stands to the right so everyone else can walk down them on the left.

  20. to the right, like we learned in school.

we also drive on the right here, so there's probably a connection.

which way do they go in left-side driving countries?

  21. walking in the states is like driving in the states, which means you are suppose to stay to your right.

  22. lol everytime someone walks up to me we both go the same way so im like, "OK YOU GO FIRST!!!!" lol

  23. left usually

  24. Right.

  25. Although it's polite to stick to the right

there are days when I yearn

to hold my arms out and turn

spinning in circles and slapping the crowd

those are the days when I'm not allowed

To walk out in public because of my mood

So just stick to the right, or stay at home, dude.

  26. left
