  1. that's very interesting..

I think it's because you are used to YOUR own "touch"

  2. becuase you know your not funny so your body doesn't laugh when you do it.

    ....are you talking about me?!?!?

    i am NOT super ticklish

  3. good question..... but i wouldn't know cuz i've never tried to tickle myself. but i am EXTREMELY tickelish like EVERYWHERE and i scream really super loud when people grab my ribs. i know i m not very helpful, but thnx for reading my meaningless story : )

  4. Because your body and subconscious know whether the contact is foreign stimulation or not. The only reason you feel ticklish is because your body is telling you it is being touched by foreign sources and that it feels in danger. But we mostly know we are not in danger while being tickled unless you rupture something from laughing.

  5. Because when you try to tickle yourself, your brain is too tuned into your fingers and the sensations they are feeling to entirely pick up on the ticklish feeling. Thus when someone else tickles you, your brain is tuned in to the sensation you are feeling on your skin rather than the feeling in your fingers.
