Question:

When staying in a hotel, do you leave your toothbrush out when you get the room cleaned?

I've heard somewhere that the maids may clean the toilet with your toothbrush if you leave it out. personally I think this is just being paranoid. I feel they have other things to think about than sabotaging the customer's toothbrush. I trust the maids wouldn't do that to anyone.

What do you think?

  1. Well I never thought of it before, but next time I'm in a hotel I'll be thinking of you and keep it covered!

  2. Wow. Think about it. If the maids used your toothbrush to clean the toilet, you would know as the toothbrush is wet, indicating that the toothbrush has been used whilst you were gone.

  3. No, I don't - not because I think the maid will use it to clean anything, just because I don't want anyone touching it to move it around while cleaning the sink, etc.

  4. Never know this one before. I will check the tooth brush & see if it is wet, or just remove it before I leave the room for safe sake.
