  1. They are mailed according to the last two digits of your social security number as well as if you filed your taxes and were direct deposited or sent by mail.  If they are sent by mail, then they take awhile longer.

  2. It will not tell you the exact date it was mailed. But you should have recieved a letter prior to the mailing date telling you when it would be mailed. It would also tell you how much you would recieve, and that if you didn't recieve it with 6-8 weeks from the date at the top of the paper call them. And there was another number other than the 4010 number.

  3. Stimulus checks are mailed according to your social security number.

    Go to www.irs.gov

  4. No.  It just more or less tells you a time frame you will get it.  My dad got a paper check and the letter stated he would get it by July 5, but the day before was a holiday so it was held up in the mail to the 7th.  So if your letter stated you will receive it by the 18th you can expect it anytime next week.

  5. Usually a week after posted mailing will receive your check. www.irs.gov and click stimulus check. Based on last two digits of the primary filer when will receive check.

Please note this: If you used an internet based tax preparer such as Turbo-Tax and had them subtract the fee from your check, you must look up on stimulus site the date it will be mailed.

  6. It depends if you got them professionally done. They should be being issued right now but if you did your taxes yourself, it will take longer.

  7. Don't believe it when you get the notice the check is in the mail.  It must be coming from china via rickshaw because those that were due June 20 are still not delivered. I gave up waiting for it and will take it as a surprise when it shows up. Remember the IRS works harder to get money in than put money out.  The losers that cling to those federal jobs because they know life in the real world requires results care about as much as congress does about the average American.  That is why the congressional ratings are down to 9% approval.  Yet liberals point at Bush's 28% approval rating and say it is bad.  Something wrong there.

  8. It has something to do with the last two didgets of your social security number.

    My parents got theirs already.
