When surfing how many waves do you typically catch in one outing? How often do you get to ride a wave?

It all really depends on where you are surfing.

I surf mostly Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz.

I usally go out for 3 hours at a time.

I catch about a wave every 5-10 mins.

Its fun stuff!

depends on the set intervals.... usually 1 wave per set... and if you time it right the next set is there by the time you've paddled out again. Id say a new set every 5 minutes on average.

it all depends sometimes ill be out for 5 hours sometimes ill be out for 10 minutes

ill usually catch a wave every 3-5 minutes
