When take picture with panasonic fz 18?

as you know when we take picture , the pic is bigger , but can we change the format to smaller picture?

cause when im uploading in my computer it tends to load quite slow so i want a smaller size picture but how?

normally, I use photoshop to reduce the size and adjust the levels.  But if u don't have photoshop ($$), try some freeware that can do bulk image resize.  do a search on google for "Bulk image resize freeware", you will get a lot of options.

btw, you're not alone, I always remind ppl size down the photos before send it out.  size like 1024x768 is fairly enough for screen viewing.

Shoot at the highest res the camera allows then resize the image afterwards.
