When taking an at home test for illness what does it mean if it changed colors but it's not a choice?

  1. Usually at home tests have a time point when you are supposed to look at the results (like 5 minutes after peeing on it, for instance). Some time after that, if the colors change it is because the test is done and the chemical components are breaking down.


  2. im assuming your using some type of dip stick urinalysis?  it used to happen to me sometimes, usually if the color is darker than the scale, i say its higher, obviously.  i try to see what color it is in between and figure it out from there. if its just no good at all, i will wait a while and take another one
