When taking anti depressants does the supper sleepy

feeling ever go away? I took a first one tonight and I am so ungodly tired and I dont like it.

Try not to worry yourself right now, your body hasn’t even begun getting adjusted to taking the drug. I’ve found that, generally, an ongoing side effect with antidepressants is suppressed s*x drive, but most other side effects subside with continued treatment. Some side effects will come, and some side effects will go, but you shouldn't be judging which ones will stay until at least 3-4 weeks into treatment. Good luck.

You will usually see less of this side effect within about 3-4 weeks.  Hope you are feeling better soon:)

It goes away once the drugs are out of your blood system... a couple of hours. Which drug was it?
