When analog tv is switched over to dtv, will the numbers of the channels change. For example, I live in Norfolk, Virginia. A local tv station is WAVY-TV 10. After the dtv switch, will it still be on channel 10 or will it change.

  1. definately will change.. its very norm.. anyway, u can easily preset any channel numbering as u like by going into 'manual' presetting to adjust it yrself.. if u still hv doubts, u can refer to the manual.. it will be easier in this way also///  : ) hv a gd day...

  2. nothing will change just the signal will be digital which has no affect on the channel

  3. The channels will change, but it will still be easy to navigate and you really won't have to remember new numbers.  The difference you will see is that instead of channel '10', you will see channel '10-1' or '10.1'

The extra number signifies a digital channel, but it will not make anything too confusing.  Also, remember that the digital switch that is happening next year only affects antenna signals.

    I hope this helps you.
