  1. The answer to that question is a great big YES!!!  You'll need to find out where he's coming in, and he may need to make arrangements for you to get on base (unless you can show that his daughter is enrolled in DEERS and is therefore entitled to base privileges), but the Armed Forces likes having friends and family waiting for soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines when they get off the boat or plane.  Your fiance should know at least two weeks in advance when he's coming home, and he should know the full itinerary (what flight or boat he'll be on, where it will arrive and when) so make sure he gives you that information as soon as he gets it.  If he needs to make arrangements to get you on base, tell him to talk to his First Sergeant in-theater for help.  One word of warning:  If you don't have an ID card that will allow you to get on base, DO NOT go to meet him unless you have confirmed with your fiance that he has set everything up to get you on base.  You don't want to waste a trip just to be told they can't allow you on the base...
