The Boston Tea Party. They dressed up as Indians sneaked aboard the ship and threw all the tea overboard. Destroying the entire shipment. It was done in retaliation of a new tea tax.. It is also part of the reasons we drink much more coffee than we used to. Coffee was much cheaper because it wasn't taxed like tea was so they would buy coffee instead. At this point in time the king taxed everything in sight.
