When the leafs do win the cup?

the leafs would have a chance if teams like anaheim, dallas, san jose, montreal etc. dont have the better players. The leafs are an entertaining team when they're losing especially laughing at people who score on their own net (byran mcabe in buffalo) or goalies who let in goals from 197 feet (vesa toskula in new york).

I like the leafs... everyone makes dumb mistakes once in a while, and everything comes in full circle.  Look at the ducks... didn't make it past the first round this year after winning it all last year.

Hey dont make fun of the leafs! every team has times when they dont do good and the leafs are going through that! an every player makes mistakes!! its a part of life! the leafs will win a stanley cup and i will live to see this day!!!! (hopefully)

about the nhl being a business. right. the mlse orginazation is probably one of the better sports business' around (nevermind only in the nhl). they know how to bleed their fans, and also ensure that even when their product sucks, there's always tonnes of media coverage, and also tonnes of fans supporting the team. to mlse, the leafs not winning the cup is not a loss. only to mlse get it, because no sane business person who understood money/sports would support the way they deal because basically playoffs means more money and limelight for your franchise.

so yeah, i love the leafs, mccaber and his mistakes is old news, it usually happens once a year for him like that...now when kaberle starts making mistakes haha that's when he's going to make the news. and also i'm really glad we have vesa on our team, because if it weren't for him (or mats/antorpov and some of the marlies coming in and stepping up) we would definately have a bad team...and we're actually not that bad. vesa's definately a good goalie and i'm glad he's on our team...granted we gave up our first and second round picks for him, but having him atleast gives justin pogge more time in the ahl to develop...which is needed. also we got mark bell in the trade, and as don cherry would say a "good ol canadian boy" (minus the dui). lol.

2017 here we come. only in toronto is loosing more accepted than winning.

Who's fault is that the Leafs have lousy players?Maybe if you had a GM who was worth anything you'd go out and get good players instead of letting other teams get them.

Ha ha. The NHL is a business, and Toronto just hasn't done very good business in. . . many years. It's gonna take a personnel overhaul before they win The Cup.
