I have a very basic Cozy W505F (2-sided) wall heater. This unit has no blowers or fans.
I can light the pilot light, but when the thermostst activates the heater and the main burner lights, it shuts down after only 2 - 5 seconds.
When this happens, the pilot light goes out too.
We recently had the roof replaced, so I checked the vent pipe in the attic.
I found a section that was cocked to one side leaving a small 1/4" gap on one side of the vent pipe, between 2 sections, which I fixed.
I want to get some ideas or suggestions before spending a lot of time tearing into the unit.
FYI, the thermal blocked flue switch does not have a reset button that is readily apparent. I believe I have an older model that has no reset switch.
I have not tried bypassing it yet.
