As it stands "Defender of the Faith" applies to The Church of England, but Prince Charles said some years ago that he would like to be known as the Defender of the Faiths....so who knows what is going to happen...

Charles or perhaps William will be the next "Defender of the Faith" and have no plans to leave the Church of England.

Certainly not in the UK- though i see what your getting at -mabey in a few monarchs time....

....or when sharia law is eventually adopted over here!

No - it will be the Church of England, as it  has been for the last few hundred years.
