depends what you mean by let down, usually i give them another chance, but 2 strikes and I usually just cut them out, its easier for some than others though, i guess im a lone wolf type, i never make a big deal over lost friends, and i try not to rely others as much as possible

try to find another one who will not let us down..

discourage them from such attitude...

keep distance from them... they don't deserve love...

if they are parents... then re-evaluate your own attitude... you might be at fault...
