  1. Check the ADSL filter with one you know that works.


  2. MI6 are listening to you.

  3. Do you have a broadband line?  And if so, do you have ASDL filters connected between the telephone wire and the telephone socket?  If not, it's probably that.

    Other causes (less common) include electrical equipment too near the telephone or telephone boxes, such as televisions, microwaves etc.

  4. Change the wire from the phone to the wall.

  5. it sounds like the problem is you have a bee trapped in the ear piece

  6. Possibly a short on the local pairs, speak to your phone provider to get Openreach to check them.

  7. Do you have a hub for your internet?. if so your phone is too near it. I had same problem
