  4. Electric storms are most common during the summer, when the hot air near the ground hits the cooler air of a storm system moving in.  It is possible for electrical storms to occur anytime of year, however.

  5. Huh? I think you mean, when does the electrical storm season begin. It depends on where you live but in the ozarks where I live the "season" Is generally about 8 months long, from the first of March through the end of October, but that is just in general. This year, it stared about February, and we actually had a pretty good one in January that caused a nasty ice storm. It depends on how humid the air is and most of the time if it's cold, the air can't hold as much moisture, hence, not as many electrical storms, however, If there is cold air near the ground and warm air aloft, then you can still get a pretty nasty storm, like the ice storm in January.
