When the sun burns out?

How do you think people will act and how earth will be when the sun burns out and blows up and engulfs earth in about 100 billion years?

people will eventually come to terms with the fact that the world is going to end. maybe soon, maybe not. but if its long enough until the sun burns out then i think it probably won't be so hard for people to accept.

well rest assured the sun will never burn out...but hypothetically if it did, it wouldn't take the "whole" sun to burn out until the climate started to change dramatically...just a little of the sun burning out and people would begin to die, besides the earth is at the PERFECT distance away from the sun...a little further away we would freeze a little closer and we would be burning, despite what pollution is doing to our ozone layer (Global Warming).

sun has life of not 100 billion years but 10 billion years only. 5 billion years of sun's life have already expired.  Therefore it has lived its half life.

I think there are only 100 to 150 million years more of life left on earth.  Before engulfing the earth, it would dry up all rivers, oceans and lakes. And then the temperatures would rise to oven level. Human being will be history forever by then.  After that is, when sun will swallow the earth.

From that point on, there will never again be any kind of human, animal, plant or microbe life for eternity.

100 Billion years? Haha! I wish! Nope the sun will end its main sequence it about 4 billion years and then turn over to a red giant which will engulf Earth. We will be extinct within a billion years and with the Lord in Heaven so I don't think there will be much of a reaction. Everything dies its the laws of nature even our Sun.

Well you have the time frame off. The sun will become a red giant in about 5 billion years. However, long before then it will have increased it's luminosity enough to make Earth far too hot for humans to live on. Humanity as a civilization has existed for no more than 10 thousand years or so, and it won't take that long before the Earth is a used-up hunk of rock at the rate we're going, not to mention in a few billion years. I imagine if the human race still exists in any manner similar to how we are now, I think the dying stages of our Sun will be a poignant moment for us, if we even remember where we came from after that long.
