  1. Apart form being a bit stupid and pointless this question trivialises the fear experienced when in a life or death situation.

That said this is irrelevant as the Titanic Did NOT offer a buffet service it was waitress or table service in all classes!

the buffet did not embrace the western world until after the second world war!

  2. wudnt surprise me!!!

  3. haha thats very funnny, but i doubt they were worried about eating.. unless they knew they were gonna die anyway.... not a bad question though...

  4. NOT FUNNY RATHER SAD

  5. If I were there, I would fill up a sandwich bag really quickly and seal it (so water can't get in). This way I would have a floatation device if I fell into the water, and when I get rescued, I would have a tasty snack!! Now that's creative thinking!

  6. Your mouth & belly is bigger than your brain as i dont think people worried about food when it was sinking!!!

  7. no. during stress the digestive system shuts down to allow for more bloodflow for running away.

  8. just when I thought I'd heard the most silly question on here, you came along and asked this!!!!

  9. Yes, of course it became CLASS warfare... they drowned the poor for god's sake!!!!

  10. Lol, probably. I can only imagine the feast the fish must've had when the ship hit rock bottom!

  11. Lmao I think that when the titanic began to sink NO ONE cared  about the buffet lol ^^

But surely it did become free for all :)

  12. omg when im in fear of something my belly goes first and im on the loo lol so even greedy me would not be fighting over the sausage rolls-good question tho

  13. Absolutely. When given a choice between life and a tasty buffet, always go for the buffet I'd say - at least you know you'll die happy :D

I think many people from the early 1900s had similar thoughts

  14. lol, thats all i can say

  15. hhahaha prob. but i doubt anybody stopped to eat. they were probably all panicking

  16. I knew a lady whose brother actually gave up his place in a lifeboat so that a lady and her child could get in. He went down with theTitanic so your question would be disrespectful and insensitive to the true heroes of the day

  17. I'd rather run around screaming and panicking than think about free food or maybe someone would think about free food if they comfort eat.
