When the weather says that some thunderstorms may have some pop to it?

It depends where you live.  If my weather man said that, I'd assume that there could be some gusty winds and lots of thunder and lighting.

Two things:

You might have an odd weatherman who means the thunderstorms might bring some surprises and be loud and "poppy"!  :-)

They might mean like thunder, lightning, downpours and/or a LOUD thunderstorm.
