I live in Atlanta and I'm sick of this yellow mess. I want to powerwash the windows and the deck of my house... It looks terrible. Does anyone know when starts to get better?

Thanks!

  1. Few plants put out pollen for much more than 2 weeks. When a species is widespread so that some are growing at much higher or more northerly locations, it can be a month.

Now I never encountered a lot of pollen in Alberta. Do you live in a forest area?  or perhaps somewhere that grows canola or mustard?

  2. You have some rain comming your way.  That will help.  But you must wait until the Pine and Oak Trees have budded out.  They are the cause of the Yellow Pollen.

We are experiencing the very same dilemna here in N.W. Arkansas and have about another week to 10 days to go.

  3. It will disappear after the first frost.
