  1. It was revealed that all of the Queen's grandchildren address her as "Granny", and Princess Eugenie especially nicknamed her "Super Granny" on MySpace.com. However, although all her children and grandchildren addresses her in an informal way, they are still required to stand as she enters and leaves the room. It was also revealed that Prince Charles always referred the Queen as "Ma'am" rather than mother. As Prince Charles was growing up, he was raised by his governess and he had to book an appointment in advance to see the Queen. I suppose Prince Charles and the Queen, never really shared a loving "mother and son relationship", which is why many people think of the royal family as being harsh and cold hearted.

Fun Fact: Prince William has tea with the Queen almost every Sunday, and he is one of the only three people who could call the Queen directly on her personal line, the other two being Zara Philips (her favorite granddaughter) and her manager.
