  1. They mean 1 8oz. glass.

  2. Traditionally, a glass of wine is 5 ounces, or about 150ml.

    .

  3. most wine glasses will hold up to 8 oz. A pour would equal anywhere from 4 to 6 oz.

When recommending wine for health reasons it is suggested to drink one glass or 4 to 8 oz.

  4. First you need to drink French red wine.

Any others are bad for you, they contain an unlimited amount of suffites and chemicals that are bad for you.

The French do not consider wine as alcohol.  Drink French wine like Mouton Cadet red, $7 at Trader Joes and far better than any other non-French wines on the market.

Why French?  Because the French have a strict standard on how the wine is produced and only the ones that have low suffites (that a lot of  ppl are allergic to) and are produced in the correct region are allow to carry a certain mark.  Mouton Cadet is a "Bordeaux Controllee" and "Mis en Bouteille au Chateaux".  Which means it was strictly controlled from beginning to end,.
