When they show the boxers arm measurements on tv, does it include hand length or closed fist?

i wanna know if the hand is completely open and then measure to the finger tips or just to the closed fist?

Reach = wingspan, fingertips to fingertips.

Arm length = armpit to end of closed fist.

I believe HBO popularized this measurement.

The measurements are from one end of the finger tips to the other end, if you are using the wingspan measurement (standing in T-formation). If the arms are measured, they just measure from armpit to fingertips.
