No. A football spirals one way left handed passer, the opposite way right handed passer.

All five times I have been to Australia, never have seen a drain or toilet spin the opposite way.

I think it is a false story.

first off, i wouldn't know because in australian rules football, we call it 'foot'ball becuase we pick the ball up and kick it, kick, get it, we don't throw it.
