When to get tested for chlamydia again?

I keep asking so many questions on this subject. I'm just concern and want to know more.

At Planparenthood, they told me that i have to wait 2 weeks before having s*x again. And that 3months later to come back at get retested. That I should only be retested since I have insurance and that my husband doesn't. Another words, i'm guessing a test done from me would be clearer? also I have read, people saying that after treatment to go back and get retested. Or after a month to go back. Is it because the test is sensitive? and it might still just test positive for chlamydia? Trust me, i am willing to go back every 2 weeks if i have to, just to know if this is gone. Advice on how long to really wait? Or whats the soonest I can get tested again? They said 3months, but 3months is so long! and I could have serious scarring already done.

no. ok..i think you said you already had a test? if it is negative chances are whenever you go back it will be negative..if it was positive and you drnaked that formula to get rid of it..then you are fine..you can go back i went back 6 months later and i was fine. and scarring doesnt really start unless you have had it for like years!!! like 5 years..i had mine for like 2 years and didnt know!!when i was 16.. i am fine..i just had a baby girl 6 months and we are all fine!!!

Get tested every 3-6 months. Go to a free clinic like Planned Parenthood. You can go ANYTIME. Google this: Planned Parenthood. Then find one near you.

If you've been treated and your husband hasn't, then you bet you want to get retested, he could have it and be giving it to you every time you have s*x.
