Brand new PC.

Is it safe to make my recovery discs AFTER I uninstall all the bloatwares?

I have to assume that it will be fine, after using Revo Uninstaller to do a deep cleanse of the garbage and leftover bits and pieces. What actually gets put onto the recovery discs?

I just want to be sure.

  1. When I had my Compaq computer, the Recovery Disk would install all of the preinstalled programs automatically.

If you are using a program like Ghost, remove the programs that came with then run the System Backup. The recovery disk for Ghost is just a bootable OS that they made that contains needed functions to diagnose and fix a computer.

  2. sure, but why take the chance? its not gonna cost u anything to do the recovery first does it? but from my knowledge, the recovery disc is standard whether u uninstall the other software or not

  3. Your recovery disks should be made ahead of anything else, that way there is no chance of corruption.
