When to pack for vacation?

when should i start packing for my vacation? i leave on thursday!

i always wash my clothes the a day or two before hand and then i start packing four hours before i leave or if im leaving in the morning i'll pack the night before right before bed. I lay everything out on my bed that i will need and then i just pack everything off my bed into a suitcase. this method works for me cause i see everything that i'm taking and if i'm missing everything.

Start now, make a list of what you want to take and cross out the items as you pack them.  If you wait until the last minute you might forget some things.

I'd do like Dani said, only make sure to pack the things that you use everyday the very last minute. you don't want to have to unpack to find something.

A few days before is probably ideal: my habit tends to be a few hours before! If you are travelling to a very different climate u can pack most of it now.  Just make sure u have the important stuff: passport, tickets, driver's license - everything u can pick up on the way
