  1. At present the markets are at their poorest status. If you are not in a hurry for the need of money, just wait for the markets to get you some good returns for the amount & time you have invested & waited so far.

  2. YES

  3. Depends on how close you are to maturity. If you're nearly there...just wait until full maturation. If you're nearly there and in great haste find out what your DSC (deferred sales charges) would be and ssee if it's worth redeeming.

It also largely depends on if these funds are in a registered (RSP) or non-registered (CASH) account. If it's in an RSP you'll have to pay withholding tax, deregistration and applicable taxes on your withdrawal.

  4. Friend,

this is not at all the time to redeem any mutual fund. Because, market is utter down and if you redeem the fund now, you are spoiling better chance to get handsome returns from it when selling the same when stock market in the peak.

So wait for some time and let the stock market reach 22k or 23k then you can have a redeem option.

    Does this make sense

  5. The best time was last October. The worst time could be now, or not. I think you are too late.

  6. wait untill markets gose up...

  7. if you can handle the volatility and the risk, wait it out.

this is the reason why i got out of MF - that and the excessive management fees for doing nothing.

  8. Now market is very low so this is the time to invest  otherwise dont redeem your mutual fund by lowest NAV. Please wait  for market high level.
