When to retake ACT as a senior?

I don't want to pay the September late fee, but I'm also worried that I won't get the results early enough if I take the test in October.

  1. You will get the results early enough if you take the test in October. Trust me, I'm taking my second test in October and I've researched it. If you are applying early action anywhere though, I'm not 100% sure, but I do think that if you send your scores to those colleges immediately (as in you tell ACT to send the scores to those EA colleges before you even take the test) you should be fine. But for the January deadlines, you have no worries at all. Most colleges require that you take the SAT/ACT before the December test date.
