So my PC is less than 2 years old. It's been running odd for the past year I called HP and the guy had me s***w it up more just get the fan to restart which now I have to reset the computer eve time I turn it off to get the fan to start when being turned on the next time. Now it takes over 6 mins to just boot up and my BF decided to download some bootleg software for his cell and our computer is sudden opening windows on it's own (spam banners even yellow pages?) however no virus are found and I cannot find any of the software leftover that he downloaded. Plus the computer is locking up now, trying to go to blue screens so it is shutting down. Is it time to recover? What will be lost? I have the basic office that comes on all computers will it will it still be there? will my HP programs be there? Help!!!!!!!! I've backed up all pictures and music just in case . We have no recovery disks just whats on the computer for programs.
