When to start purchasing books?

Do i have to purchase my books before classes start? or will they tell me what books are needed for that class on the first day? because i have no idea on what books i need, and there is nothing on the website that tells you.

oh and when i mean purchase i mean charge them because i get financial aid... i dont know how this works and no one at the school is telling me anything!! and how do i got about charging them?

  1. Usually the school bookstore will have a list of professors and what books you need.

    Call the financial aid office of your school and ask them about books (or call the bookstore--they might know).

    You can also wait and purchase them after the first day of the course.  Then, of course, you risk the bookstore running out (or running out of used copies), but if that happens professors are usually understanding as long as you let them know you tried.


  2. If you are going to purchase your books with financial aid, definitley call the bookstore. Where I went to school there was a certain times you could buy your books.
