When to take a pregnancy test?

My period usually starts around the 30th of every month. Is it too soon to take a pregnancy test tomorrow or the next day? (24th or 25th?)

An early result pregnancy test can show positive 5 days before you miss your period, but you could also get a false negative testing that early. I was always able to test 4 days before I was due and get positives. It is worth giving it a try, but if it is negative try again after you miss your period.

I would wait until the 27th or 28th to take one. It may still be to early to detect the hcg hormone. If it comes out negative take another one the first of Sep.
