When todd heap is healthy,is he better than jason witten?

i gotta go with heap because if heap was used like jason witten in dallas..he would do more damage{more productive]...tell me what yall think

i actually have heap on my fantasy roster. i had heap and tony gonzalez. i traded gonzalez away for jacobs (very smart trade) and now hoping heap will hold down the TE spot.

heap is gonna probably have a 800yard,5td season. hes not as good as witten tho. witten's qb is alot more reliable than heap's qb

"If Todd Heap is Healthy"  Is a HUGE IF!!

Honestly, Heap would compete to be the #1 TE every season is he was indestructible.  However, that line of thought is FANTASY, fantasy football.  Heap just can't be put near Witten because Heap is always hurt.

If he played in the same scheme, and had the same caliber players around him, he may indeed be... Unfortunately, he doesn't have TO to occupy the defense and Romo throwing to him, so his numbers won't be near Witten's...

I have to give it to Witten because he does stay healthy. Both are very talented but one of my favorite plays from last season was Witten running downfield after he lost his helmut. He gives it up a lot to go across the middle and is more of a threat on every play vs just the endzone. I also think he is a better blocker than Heap. Stat wise, Witten also has a higher career YAC than Heap does and to me that is where heart and desire is with TE's. Witten is also 2 years younger than Heap, so if I'm looking to start a team I think Witten would be the choice. Impossible to say what Heap's numbers would have been in DAL last year, I still think he is a top 5 TE talent wise but have to give the edge to Witten right now.

A TE is only as good as his QB, so there's the rub.

Romo is already a Pro Bowl caliber QB, and the Ravens are going with unproven rookies, either Flacco or Troy Smith.

Heap has at times been a fantasy force, but is always on the injury report.

Today Witten is the better choice.
