  1. You will go through customs in whatever connection city you are traveling through. For example, if you are on American Airlines you will connect through Dallas. When you arrive in Dallas, you will be required to collect your luggage, then take it through to a customs agent where they will check your passport and rescan your luggage. Upon arrival in Mexico, you collect your luggage, then pass through a customs area where they check your passport and stamp it. You will be required to present the declaration paperwork (they give it to you on the plane) Then, once you get through, you will have to press a button that will flash red or green. If it flashes red, then they search your bags. If it is green, then you are free to leave the terminal.

On the return, you will again go through customs in Dallas. Collecting your luggage, passing through the passport area. They will then recheck it, and you are free to go meet your connecting flight.

  2. when coming 2 mex, u go thru customs in mex, when u go back u do it in toronto

  3. You are always checked in customs of the country you are visiting. If you are comming from Canadá to México, you will go thru mexican customs, and when you return you'll go thru Canada's custom.

  4. you go through customs in the country you are visiting. Last time I checked Toronto was in Canada, unless it moved to Mexico :)

or if you travel from Mexico to Canada you go through customs in Toronto unless you arrive in another part of Canada
